new macbooks?

hi there, am looking to purchase a new macbook (entry level one) but am wondering whether there will be any upgrade to the hardware to coincide with the new OS release?

Also is it worth waiting for the new OS or will it be pretty much the same?

At the very least wait until Tuesday. New Mac products a-coming.

After that, its up to you if you want to wait until Leopard comes out. Personally I would wait until I could get it preinstalled.

Some people would disagree and always say "buy now or you'll be waiting forever" but for the sake of a few weeks I would wait this one out.

Wait until Tuesday just incase they announce updates.

Don't bother waiting for Leopard as the next revision in hardware wouldn't be until Macworld (which is Feb 2008)

ah well that sounds good to me. i'll be waiting until tuesday anyway, i still wonder if leopard is worth waiting for. it looks like it takes more system resources, but i dont plan on upgrading to 2gb so i guess it is just the basic mac and tiger for me
