I know the psu's on the cheap side, but its the only one in my budget with a gaming card power port.

Thanks!!

p.s I know the psu's a bit naff, but was thinking of this

But I want to keep the costs as low as possible. TOTAL =£160 with this psu.

I have already managed to get a floppy style 6 in 1 card reader, a 160gb 5200rpm which will have to do for now and a standard atx case. I also will be buying a <£40 graphics card soon if budget allows.

So what do you think, a gaming machine for £150... or not.

So if I do get a graphics card, £200, is this too good to be true, I want to run all the latest games at very high fps..

Many Thanks.
Jay

Sorry, I'm new and had no idea.

Really I want a gaming system for £200, but I don't need a graphics card at the moment so £150.

May Include:
AMD Phenom II x4 955 Black edition 3.2ghz
4GB ram
Motherboard with descent on board graphics and sound and a PCI express
Descent Psu

Hard drive, DVD RW, case, tick

£150
any suggestions?

I really do want a phenom ii x4 for gaming, but does it really make a difference?

BeQuiet Pure Power L7 530W '80 Plus' Power Supply £44.99
Too much for me, The one in the second link I recommended was 650 watt and has been reviewed as really good for £30 with a graphics card socket

and if I did get an athlon, I would reduce my costs dramatically.

So why spend so much when you can get an excellent gaming rig for under £200, I don't really understand why people pay £2000+

Thanks?
