for modeling arrays with matlab so no more than 4 cores needed but as much memory as a budget of £2000 will permit will try running cuda so a nvidia card needs to be included but other than that open to suggestions

with 24 GB of ram, and 200 left to spend on watercooling.

Yeah, I didn't include drive etc.

Might also downscale the GFX card a bit as well and buy a power supply if you need one.
SSD will be great for storing your matlab stuff on.

how much memory does matlab need to run well?

how big is your monitor?

If you had an SSD for matlab and your other programmes including windows, how many gigs would you need?

are you overclocking your CPU?
