Hi everyone,

Current situation
-Game most nights
-HoTs, WoW, CS and Rust mainly
-Settings are never max and normally low on Rust and WoW to get good FPS
-Don't play much else and not that bothered about other games
-I do wish the games I play could be on max settings without FPS drops
-Currently have Intel i5-2500k CPU @ 3.3Ghz, 8GB Ram, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570, Apple Cinema Display Monitor, Gaming peripherals, No Speakers.

Questions:
-do I upgrade?
-do I buy a new setup completely?

If so... I could spend around a £1000 MAX and would like to get some speakers with that too as the Cinema Display sound is terrible for music and games.

Would welcome your help if that's ok :)

New GFX card.

What case+PSU do you have, so a new card fits in the case, overclocking the CPU would be good.

PSU should be fine, case...I think its limited with space inside and I seem to remember some people having to hack the Hdd cages to make a long gfx card fit.

£50-60 could get a new case with much more space for gfx cards and tall heatsinks.

I was thinking about you getting a nvidia gtx 1070 because it's faster than a titan plus it has lower power consumption as compared with amd cards.

Also get another 8gb stick in there if you already have a 8gb stick installed.

I think it would be a tight squeeze for a new gpu that's all.

Lovely, thanks for the replies and so quickly.

So upgrading sounds like the best plan, so I am happy with that guys... thanks.

What do I get then? I know very little about gaming rigs and components as you can see... link me the items to buy and i'll probably just go ahead and do it.

Also, what about the monitor and speakers? Any advice on that front? :D

Again, thanks.

Monitor https://www.overclockers.co.uk/dell...reen-led-monitor-midnight-grey-mo-082-de.html

I picked the 25 inch dell because i would have gone with the 27 inch version but it's over 400 quid on overclockers.

computer speakers https://www.overclockers.co.uk/creative-inspire-a250-2.1-speaker-system-51mf0420aa004-sp-168-cl.html if your after some headphones get these as i have done a lot of research on headphones https://www.overclockers.co.uk/mionix-nash-20-analog-stereo-gaming-headset-black-sp-002-mi.html

Don't know about your ram as i think you should have 2 identical sticks correct me if i am wrong unless thats what the motherboard does i.e. 2 different sticks running at same speed and same timing, like what amd crossfire does with gpus when you have 2 gpus that are not the same and gets limited.

For my post budget really save your self a few hundred plus it's one of the most recommended budget monitor.

I'd go with the aoc that stulid recommends and save a bit.

I seem to think the 27 inch is an ideal size for 1440p.

I own the u2515h personally and actually its good for the money.i feel personally that 27 inch would be better for my needs.

I don't know whether i need glasses or just cannot see the text as well as i did with my old u2410 1920x1200p dell monitor.
