Evenin folks,

Im looking to spend around 900-950 on a new rig.

Ive been looking at as an example

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-030-OE

Now im not to sure on the graphics card choices and another question Im wondering is if a machine like this with a decent graphics card choice will last in the long term.

Once again cheers for any inputs and opinions provided.

Also if I went for the 2 x ati 5750 would that psu still be adequate :O ?

looks nice.

i would go for the 2x 5770.

from what ive seen on here that combo is pretty powerful when crossfired

would there be issues with a 650w power supply then ? especially if i plan on adding two hard disks on top

a lot also depends on what offer ocuk bring out from as the 2nd :) but i hope a decent package like that remains ..... would i see much benefit from buying the parts separately? Buying the package at least means the ocuk pros setting it up beforehand :P which is always an added bonus

as schizo220168 said, go for the two 5770's, you will get much better performance which will be good for a number of years. The psu will be fine, even if you start adding extras like another HDD or optical drive

PSU is one of the most important components in your setup, dont use an old one get the newer ones which has sufficent ampage on the 12v rails, the total wattage isnt a Huge issue anymore.

cool set of gear there but there are alternatives.
have you possibly considered getting
a set of individual pieces and making it yourself?
relatively speaking its not much cheaper.
low and behold though you will come out
eventually with a greater sense of satisfaction
s’up to you though if you can put in the time

Also I was wondering if you need such a
versatile processor. The I7s are very good at
everything, but if you are primarily a gamer
let your money be spent elsewhere
like on a much better graphics card which
at the end of the day will be a lot more
noticeable to you end game performance.
Ole and good luck with whatever your choice.
