New MacOS on old Mac ?

Hello all

Got an old mac pro - early 2015 and was wondering if there is a way to 'force' new OS to be installed on it ?

Has anyone done it or point me in the right directon please ?

if thats not doable or pointless might just flog it...

You should be able to update to Mac OS 12 “Monterey” via the main menu of the current OS.

I’m not aware of being able to “force” builds on Macs unless you have an Apple badge and the tools/permissions to do so.
