They will yes, SSDs are all 2.5” drives.

You can buy converters but in your case they will 100% fit. Replace, plug in and install a fresh copy of windows on the new SSD and you good to go.

Don’t keep your old drive and new drive in though at the same time in case you format the wrong drive when installing windows.

No need to apologise I know a couple people with brain fog after Covid.

When it comes to actually mounting one of those in your case, don't worry too much about screwing it into drive bays etc if it looks faffy.

On several builds I have just used double sided tape or cable tied it to something.

I added a couple of 2.5” to 3.5” bay converters just for neatness in the builds I did. In my own personal build it come with bay converters.

Can you please clarify exactly what your PC/laptop is and what you mean by "Will these just stright into my old SSd slot"?

If you have a PC, you should have more than one drive bay and you can just add more storage, or even use an external USB one (if you have reasonably fast USB ports). Otherwise you get into stuff like drive cloning.

Cheers Mate I will get one of them.

I wouldn't recommend buying a 870 QVO, they're QLC based and have poor speed and endurance relative to TLC drives. The superior 870 Evo has had issues (see storage forum) and we don't know if it has been fixed (..or not).
