Hiya.
I sold my old comp (Q9550, 460 sli, 780i sli) since i dont do gaming no more.
New comp gonna have:
2500K w/ Scythe big shuriken
asus p8p67-m
Teamgroup elite 1333 cl9 2x4gb
380w seasonic s12ii
Evga gt430 128bit
All stuffed to SS Grandia GD05
What I'm currently concerned of is the gpu fans noise.
Is any of the like kazillion aftermarket coolers currently available compatible to that gt430?
Thank you in advance for your answers!
Ps. Sorry about typos and bad english, sent from my htc desire :D

I suggest choosing a graphics card which comes with a passive heatsink, rather than trying to choose and fit one yourself. Make sure there's some form of airflow over it from another fan and it'll be fine. It might mean you don't get a 430 though.

Have you considered onboard graphics? Much quieter, and lack of performance is a non issue since you dont do gaming no more.

Yeah, I have been looking for a passive gt430 with a reasonable price but nah didn't come by any, cheapest passive one I found is nearly 25% more expensive than the evga one :/
And that matx case I'm getting has 3x120mm fans alrdy preinstalled so the airflow wouldn't be issue..
All I would need is the info on the gt430's heatsink mounting pattern, then I could be searching for the compatible hs, if there even is one. But I haven't yet found the info I need.

Yeah, sure I would love to use the integrated but I suppose you haven't read anything about sandy bridge?
I will be getting the 2500K I mentioned and a P67 board, I cannot use integrated since P67 doesn't support sandy's integrated gpu and I sure as hell ain't getting one of those H67 boards, they would have the support for sandy gpu but then very limited cpu oc'ing..

Is it still more expensive than the evga one + £40 for a heatsink delivered?

Z68 for onboard gpu with overclocking support, due out later this year but it's unclear when.
