new MB and CPU

i'm thinking of buying this mb :
Asrock 4CoreDual-SATA2 (Socket 775) PCI-Express/AGP DDR2 Motherboard

and this cpu:
Intel Core 2 Duo E2180 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.00GHz (800FSB) - Retail

i will be using my ati x850xt graphics card as well as my 1gb of geil ddr1 memory, i've not changed anything in my pc for ages, can anyone see me having any problems with this

There's no problem whatsoever. However, since you can get 2 GiB DDR2 for less than 30 quid now it wouldn't hurt to upgrade in that area.

Check sig, runs fine no probs, however I'm sick of the mobo already for some of it's limitations, not even had it long , getting a P965/P35 board since I now have DDR2 RAM and a PCI-e card.

didn't know the memory was that cheap, your right i may as well get 2gb of ddr 2 memory as well ,what would you recomend with this board or does it not matter

davew, unless it has special slots for DDR1 memory it won't work in a DDR2 board. The key (the little gap between the pins) is different and if you force it in it will kill everything.

Got 2x1Gb Geil PC6400 ULL, runs fine (underclocked mind) and dirt cheap.
