New MB

Hi,

My pc recently died, the main fault was the MSI MB, it also damaged the Q6600 cpu. For the replacement I was thinking of something based around the I5 2500k. My GC (GTX 460 ) is ok and the psu seems ok (Coolermaster 600w silent pro gold)
For the new RAM I was thinking 2 x 4GB G-skill RipjawsX .

I'm not sure exactly what MB to go for though so any recommendations would be much appreciated. My case is for Micro ATX (InWin Dragon slayer)so
something which would fit would be ideal, failing that I'll have to get a bigger case. Also would prefer something reliable ;)
Because I already have a Graphics card would it be better to go for a P67 based one rather than a Z68? I was looking at the Asus P8P67-M PRO B3.

Thanks!

I know this is a little more expensive but going from my experience with this board, it immediately clocked to 4.6 on a I5 2500K (with 1 click in bios) and has been stable since day 1.

I have had no problems except for a bios update to get my Logitech G510 to be recognised in the bios. (I was glad I had another keyboard)

Thanks for the fast replies guys, its much appreciated!
I can now get the thing sorted, after reading a lot of bad reports for various budget boards regarding reliability it makes you a little cautious .choosing something by just browsing .

Asus P8Z68-M PROin one of the above links is pretty cheap so may go for that if ok

No probs Gregster .

I just noticed the particular RipjawsX I was looking at isn't listed on the Asus QVL  F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL is on there though

I would not worry to much as manufactures don't usually keep all lists upto date.
