Right folks, I've just moved out from the 'rents and into my girlfriends place. Having done this I've had to leave all my kit behind, 42" G10, Kef Soundsystem, loads more - but also my quad core PC as "it's too big for the living room"....i mean cmon!!!

Anyways, she who must be obeyed has said we if i can make a small enough pc, and it fits with the ikea unit, then i can have a media pc again. TBH I couldnt live with just sky and not my mediabrowser.

So...im looking to you genius folk to spec me a good media cenre pc. As I've said, im gonna need to keep this small so bare that in mind. I've had to leave everything I had behind but will be going back the parents to get all my old stuff off my hard drives onto my new ones (around 2.5 TB of stuff - which will be trimmed). I wont be looking for a monitor as it'll be connected to the LCD she has via HDMI.

The PC will be mainly for media centre purposes and internet browsing with the occasional game of football manager but no need for an expensive gfx card.

Cheers for your help guys and guyettes.

Sorry. Obviously as low as possible as everyone wants to keep more money, but I wouldn't like to go above 400, so if I could get my components for around 200-300 id be happy - then shell out on either a nice silverstone case or a mini itx cube like one if not.

See sig :D

There absolutely tiny. About the size of Wii. Super quiet to the point you can't hear it. Looks stylish and is sure to match Ikea furniture. It can also play your football games on medium-high. It handles PES 2011 quite well :)

For your data. Just hook up an external HDD.
