new member requires help

Hi all, I'M a first time builder looking for a bit of advice, where would be the best place to list my current spec and explain what I'd like to do.

HI, Welcome to OCUK.
The best place would be in General Hardware.

You can always put your current spec in your signature too, to aid people in helping you with your queries so you don't have to post every time.
I'm sure if you let everyone know what you want in a build, they'll spec you a good one up right away.
