Just put in 2x1GB Supertalent PC4000 to replace my 4x256MB OCZ Premier.
Got it straight in at 250FSB (DDR500) with CPU/RAM of 1:1 at 3-3-3-6 1T timings. I'm pretty impressed with this ram. Had to take the voltage to 2.75V before it would boot at that speed, although I have no idea what voltage they are suppose to run at. Cant seem to find the information on the company's web page.
Anyway, the main point of getting the ram was to make BF2 load faster, and it does.
So, job done. That's me happy for a while again... well... till the next new thing comes out.
I've managed to avoid the Conroe feaver so far, at the moment my system is perfectly capable of handeling the games I play with all the eye candy on. Have to see was 2142 is like once it comes out.
Just as a foot note, managed to knock 1.7 seconds off my 1MB Super PI with this ram.
