Hey there, I have an Asus P6T and 6GB of Triple Channel g.skill DDR3 1333Mhz

Now I happen to be using the majority of that these day's
What can anyone suggest?

I use an I7 Core 920 but I assume I can also use Dual Channel with that? also I'm looking probably for 16GB and a fast speed just not sure what to look for really.

Also does this CPU-Z look correct? Surely the DRAM should be 1333MHz?

Thanks

Pop into the BIOS and check the memory multiplier and the BCLK.

Your BCLK might be slight raised (slight overclock) to give the different reading.

The default clock speed is 133, your memory multiplier would need to be 10.

I have DRAM Frequency set to AUTO or I can set it to 800, 1066, 1333 and so on and then under is UCLK, also UCLK isn't a typo. also set to AUTO that has options for 1600, 1733, 1866 and so on.

I go to advanced Tab on my BIOS and BCLK is displayed as 133MHz

Thanks Again.

I got mixed up with the numbers, I read 1096 and not 1069! doh :D

Select 1333mhz and check the ram voltage as well, this will be stamped on the side of the memory modules if you need to double check.

its now showing up as 1333 :)
So hopefully that should be a little tiny bit more performance.
Also I was looking to rather upgrade my RAM in Speed and Size and just ditch the old G.Skill tbh.

Go on, treat yourself. ;)

Imagine all the pretty lights. :D Comes in red and green too. Okay it's a silly suggestion. :(

Also interested to know if it can support dual channel, as triple channel sets seem kind of rare?
