Last night I sat down at my computer, started playing WoW and then BSOD "IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". Rebooted. Loaded up Skype same thing again, but with no message. Left it to do a scandisk from boot, wake up to see "BAD MEMORY POOL" or something, another BSOD in any case.

I load BIOS defaults and leave MemTest86+ running. In less than 20 minutes I come back to see a constant stream of errors, upwards of 70,000.

Soooo... basically what I am asking is, what's good memory to buy nowadays :D

I was using Corsair XMS2C4 PC2-6400, should I just buy these again or what do you reckon?

Four 1GB sticks of identical memory. There was a few months gap between purchasing the first 2GB kit and the second though.

Hasn't happened before really, had the occasional problem with the PC hanging then not booting up until I switched the power pack off and on. This has been my best memory up until this point, used GieL previously and that was 10 times worse.

Have you tried higher NB and DRAM voltage since you're using 4 sticks?

It had been working for a good few months up until this point on 2.1v@400 4-4-4-12, and now it's even on stock settings.

When I get back I'm taking out two sticks and seeing if it runs fine then, because I only really had 4GB for Vista x64 anyway.
