New Microwave

Hi,

My old Panasonic 800w microwave probably should have been replaced a long time ago,
but now it's started to occasionally cut out when cooking, and part of the black interior doesn't look too clever either.

I don't know whether to try one of these dual function ones which combine an air-fryer as well.

I've no set budget but don't see the point of paying extra if the benefit is marginal.

Any opinions or user experiences welcome!

Get an induction one, they cook more evenly and defrost food far better.

Is that also known as an 'inverter' microwave?
Looking around, I don't seem to see any listed as 'induction'.

My requirements are always Inductor model plus flatbed. Got a top end Panasonic at the minute with oven and grill in it as well very handy for small meals.

Do you happen to know the exact model name/number so I could take a gander? Cheers.

Seems to be tricky to find an inverter/flatbed unit, that doesn't have dubious plastic-like material on the inside.

Yes that was the problem I had, it's even worse if you want manual controls.

Personal preference sure, but I absolutely despise buttons on a microwave, completely unnecessary.

2 knobs, 1 power, 1 time, it's all you need.

Why I ended up getting a commercial one, it's the only one I could find that ticked all the boxes.

Just a heads-up for anyone interested, I bought the Wonder-Oven from fromourplace.co.uk.

I haven't used it much yet, but so far, I'm very happy with the results.
