Hi, what I'd like to do is set up a pc with my 42 inch 4k TV in my front room, it needs to be able to play ps1/ps2 emulators smooth at high fps and general indy games on steam. I am open to any suggestions doesn't have to be new components and I'd like to do this as cheap as possible any advice?

Two options, intel + rx570

4 cores and can be overclocked to 4.5-5ghz. most emz only use 1-2 cores, but some can now use 4 along with GPU like latest Wii U etc
Keeps costs down can remove GPU if you know it won't be used, total would be £580 .

Would recommend recommend overclocking CPu as for as you can get it, not the GPU part . This version covers the middle and the cheapest
