Hi all,
I've been out of the computer loop for quite a while, so I'm a bit clueless now it comes to spec myself a new one.

My trusty Q6600 based steed has finally died a death so I'm looking to downsize to mITX as I hope it will future proof me in terms of flexibility of space.

The budget is £450-500 and all I need is the hardware (No OS or monitor etc.) with no SSD or HDD as they are already sorted.

As for use, it will be a bit of everything, a bit of gaming (assetto corsa and might finally be able to play new games!) and also some light CAD and simulation work.

Would be great to hear what you think may be best!

Thanks

Thanks guys, this is what I'm currently thinking.

Not sure on the case yet, does anyone know a case that will fit 2x3.5 HDD and 1x2.5 SSD as that would be ideal. (Thanks Lexeus - i will take a look at the Coolermaster case)

Is there anywhere I've gone wrong with the spec or anywhere i could improve?

Cheers
