New MMOFPS

had a look at it hrmm coupla things....

1. from that link of the screenies are those the right ones? Yeah sure they look good for a game that was new maybe in...1999!!! Theres nothing there! lol :D A couple of pregenerated landscapes which dont look that hot tbh. some bare corridors and probably worst of all...the hideous player models wow! It looks like a HL 1 MOD.

2. I get the impression from this SOS fellow (staff apparently) he aint too organized or he doesnt really know what hes doing (ie hes making it up as he goes lollies). e.g. they are releasing a game and they havent finalized details on what the payment method is? Oh wait They discussed it and got feedback so they decide its gonna be monthly etc etc. LOL....classic.

smells big fakeroooney or just smells tbh :)

We were hoping to have all the media and screenshots done before we released the new "Lost Colony Game" website. Unfortunately, we are still busy polishing the new game and the playtest is coming up. Time was very limited and we didn't want to delay the website.

what website lol just looks like someone has an idea for a game and has written it down and slapped in a couple of shockingly poor screenshots....and supposably its getting near release date ahhaahahah :D

edit: yeah Darkangel i agree even if it wasnt it looks beyond poor. Wonder how many genuine people have fallen for it?

I'm loving it (the shifty part that is). I want access to their forum again!

Edit: Why are they advertising pre-orders when the game seems to have no engine, no substance and no real media. Paypal too. These guys mean business!

Someone preorders the game and mentions that they were apparently unable to enter their choice of a base name (if you preorder you get this freebie ie you pick a name for a base and the devs choose best ones)

SOS says this in reply (hes staff btw)

Someone else mentioned that too. What we're going to do is email everyone that pre-ordered with the base name info. Sorry about that.

For the people that pre-ordered, it looks like you'll be able to get into the game this week to create your Outfits, etc. I will send you all email about that in a couple days.

exactly, wheres the beta? what drugs are people on who are apparently pre-ordering. Maybe they'll get a nice box?

Apparently state of play at the moment is that they were to make available a stress test client which ppl could download and take part in. This client hasnt appeared

What BS there is only 1400 people registered, they never posted a link, and there was only 250 people on the site at the time it crashed.
