New mobo and only 1 core working

Just replaced my mobo with an asus p5kc and done a fresh install of windows vista 32bit

Now Windows only sees 1 core in cpu-z and task manager, although 4 processors are listed under Processors in device manager.

Ive tried changing the HAL to multiprocessor PC but it dosent seem to make any difference :(

Any ideas folks?

EDIT : Fixed it. Went into msconfig and forced it to redetect the HAL :)
