Now I just need to put it together, tis like lego this mobo, seperate heatsink for the NB made by Thermalright and a seperate sound board to plug into the rear, obviously both removed for shipping purposes...

Excellent board specs so I cant wait to see what it can do with my E8500!

Well thats it for now...more later on cos i'm at work atm, getting shouted at by the boss :(:rolleyes:

Do you know what the differences are between the different models with DFI?

Like UT vs LT vs DK etc?

nice, though i gotta say that box looks a little....erm...fruity!!

The box looks like something you would give to a 14yr old girl, not rough n tough, masculin overclockers :P

\0/ yea! *Hugs* fellow DFI-board owner! lol.

Looks crazily similar to mine expect for the chipset variation!

DK = Performance

LT = Enthusiast

UT = Professional

In that order for price & performance, mind you i'm having trouble seeing what the differences between the LT & the UT versions... All I can see is an extra thermalright heatsink on the UT :p

main thing that you notice instantly is the fact that DFI have actually thought long & hard about the layout of their board unlike Asus :(... My P5K-Premium has normal SATA ports that are practically all coverered by the gfx card, ram slots are virtually inaccessable again cos of the gfx card and the battery & cmos reset are covered completely by... guess what... The Gfx card!!!

Thanks for that, I assume Blood Iron is like the Infinity range?

Mind if I add you to MSN? Seriously considering this board for a build I want to order (talk about an eleventh hour change of heart!).

I think one slot is 16x size, but electronically 4x. So you could, but I wouldn't advise it! :p

Hubba - I just want a s775 DFI board to win my heart away from my present s939 system...

Its amazing how in tune they are with enthusiasts...
