New mobo / CPU and memory combo

Hello all,

Looking at new guts of a pc. I have been intel for a few years, but judging by most things I have seen I should be looking at AMD

So keen to get a high end CPU and mobo and memory combo. Something that will last 3 years plus. Will be using for work and gaming

Any recommendations please, not to concerned with budget

265K is a good CPU for mixed usage/productivity, but you'd lose performance in games versus the 9800X3D. If your work usage isn't anything heavily multithreaded there's not much benefit buying higher than the 9800X3D in games, regardless of budget.

B850 boards are fine, unless you want USB4 or more than 2-3x M.2 slots. If you need spdif, not all boards have it.

No nothing major work wise. Basic office usage

B850 boards and older style then ? Whatever I build I want to last 3 solid years without touching
