Right, want to upgrade my main pc.

I have all bits etc Mobo, CPU and Ram.

Budget max £300.

I don't need a graphics card as i don't game so onboard is fine. I have a HR-01 Plus Heatsink.

What should i go for?

AMD Phenom II X2 Dual Core 550 3.10GHz Black Edition (Socket AM3) - Retail

Looks like a cracking CPU. I noticed the Motherboard that was recommended to go with it. Has that got onboard graphics? Are there any other Mobo's that would be suitable?

What's that computer for ?
If it's just web-browsing & data writing rig, so:

XFX GeForce 8300 Socket AM2+ 50.00 (integrated GF8300 for watching HD content, mini ATX, upgradeable to Phenoms, if needed)
Athlon x2 7750BE 2.7 GHz (Black Edition, overclockable to ~3.2, if needed, 2 MB cache L3) 47.00
2x2GB Kingston HyperX CL4 36.00

TOTAL: 133.00
REST: 166.00 - a lot of beers

You should have access to the members market I think so if you tried there you would get more for your money if you don't mind buying 2nd hand. Most of it is all well looked after and people buying components for like 6months and upgrading again lol.
