New mobo/CPU/ RAM

I'm upgrading the mobo / CPU & RAM and nothing else at the moment, am I right in assuming I have to reinstall windows ? and if so I take it I just fit the new parts then start a fresh installation when I boot up.

It's advised to, although may I ask what your upgrading to as I feel if your GPU is AGP you may struggle for a decent/ worthy upgrade.

and my GPU is PCI express (1.0)
I'll get another GPU at a later date
