New mobo/Processor

Hey guys im after upgrading as my motherbooard is playing up.

whats the equivalent or as good nowadays to:

Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming MOBO
i7 4790K Processor

Also have: Kingston HyperX Savage Red 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C11 2400MHz for ram, im assuming i could keep that?

Mainly for gaming!
