My PC has had an intermittant power loss issue for quite a few months now on and off and today it keeps powering down so I decided i'd had enough and ordered a last minute replacement so I can get it done over the weekend.
Can’t fault the Gigabyte board really as I purchased it in Aug 2019.
I don't need another X570 so i've ordered an Asus ROG Strix B550-F gaming to keep the system running for another 2 years or so. I've already got a 5800X3D AMD so couldn't afford the expense of upgrading all the components.
Can anyone confirm the B550 Asus rog strix is any good? I was hoping to get the MSI B550 tomahawk but the delivery was the middle of next week.
Edit, just cancelled the Asus and ordered the MSI B550 tomahawk instead. Fitted one to my daughters PC and was impressed and has a front panel USB-C header which the Asus does not have for some reason.
Just hope my system limps along until next week!
