I forgot to check this, moving from a 939 NF4 board to the P5W, and i'd rather not have to install windows from scratch again.
If I just go into device manager and remove all system device drivers will that be enough?

As the guide says.

Yes it can be done, all it means is you have to uninstall all your mobo resources and drivers and any onboard stuff, shut down, swap mobo's and restart.

Yes, it can be done. I have gone from Abit to an Asrock board...

You need to uninstall all you mobo drivers first for the best results.... I didnt tho, because I needed to sell the machine... and abit board was goosed. I couldnt be bothered so I just stuck the hard drive in. A few restarts later and everything was ok....

Of course, I have no idea how it performed... I know it worked fine though... :D
