Hi all, I know there must be hundreds of posts just like this but I need help.
The last PC I built was a HTPC and was based on the ASUS P4P800 E Deluxe, obviously not a recent board. Im looking at whats available now and weeping with fear .. I havent the faintest idea where to start, there seem to be about ten versions of every board.
Im not particularly interested in overclocking and will probably be going for a Core2 Duo E6550. Hopefully I can find a socket adapter to allow me to reuse the Thermalright Si-120 I have at the moment.
Can anyone offer some recommendations for a decent, reliable, reasonably priced board?
