New Modem ?

How would i go about asking NTL for a new modem ?

I have a Terayon TJ210 which we got when i joined for NTL broadband me and my father pay half each for a 10Mbit connection but we can only download at around 8Mbit/s after searching a little bit on google a lot of people seem to be getting about the same speeds but when they got a new modem they got the full 10Mbit/s.

So i want a new modem, me and my dad have been paying for 10meg for months and months but not recieveing it so now i know why i want it fixed.

any ideas on how to get anew one from NTL ? the account is in my dads name !

Theoretically, the Terayon can do 10Mb (i.e., it can handle it via the CATV port). However, it only has a 10BaseT Ethernet port so you're not going to see the full 10Mb when using it.

all i want is a new modem my router is fine it works with the 3 comps n 2 laptops we got here so i don't need a router i just need a modem
