New Monitor Advice

So I am currently sporting a very old school FLATRON W2261VP that is still going strong but it's too small and the brightness levels are not the best.

My current set up is the 1070ti but I intend on upgrading to a 3070 in the future.

I don't know much about monitors but here are my current preferences

High Refresh Rate
1440P
GSYNC?
Quick Response Time
Adjustable monitor i.e. adjusting height and angle
Not set on panel type - currently gaming in conservatory so sunlight can be an issue (Hens, the option to adjust angle of monitor) - I would imagine IPS would be the way to go?

I know black levels aren't great on IPS though

My budget is £600 maximum (I would rather pay closer to the maximum)

Also, not sure if I should wait for January sales

Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated thank you.

I think anything larger than 28inch would probably be too big for my desk
