I currently have the spec below and in the market for a new monitor and so I assume also a new graphics card.

i7-4790K
16GB RAM
MSI Radeon R9 280X
Corsair Carbide Series Air 240 (Micro-ATX)

Games
CoD BO3
Overwatch (when its out)
Guild wars 2
wow
Wildstar

Features I hear are good
x1440
100 or 144 Hz
27" or 32"
Gsync or Freesync

Please help me out with your advise on what combo I should by or wait for a certain release?

Thanks in advance

Moleh

P.S My current monitor was my first buy form OCUK over 8 years ago and is a Dell Ultra 24" and it just wont die, so it will still be a great you tube screen.

Well just something with good value for money as a guide...

I usually buy into the £200-£300 - level of Graphics so X280, 5850, 8800GTX being my upgrade path.

Monitor maybe around £600 but would rather hear if you think the extra money on either is worth it.

Thanks

So lets say £1000-£1200 all in.

Thanks

In a very similar position to yourself mate, this is whats sittin in my basket

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £1,091.68
(includes shipping: £11.70)

Just havent bit the bullet yet, not sure if the other Ti models are worth the extra cost for out of the box overclocks

Nice basket!

I am looking at the IPS pannels are they going to be worth the differance and how is the QA turning out?

Also what you people say the 32" ultra wides are better for? Will FPS look odd on them as I have never used one it is hard to tell.

Thanks

Richard
