Hi
I'm currently running GeForce GTX with a DEll 2407wfp (PC is Asus Sabertooth X99, I78520K, 32GB RAM). Looking to upgrade with around £1,000+ to spend and was thinking of getting the DEll 2716DG quad with a RTX 2060 or would go up to a 2080 if it represents added value?

whats your current card? guessing a lot lower then rtx 2060?

all rtx cards with gddr6 vram will give you a chance to play space invaders.

rtx2080ti is most notorious as you get the highest chance of winning. obviously as always, if you pay more, the odds of winning are higher.
the 2080 and 2070 gives less chances due to the slower vram speed.
sporadic reports of 2060 users playing space invaders, but there's some lucky ones that do.
1660ti too new to comment.
 
amd cards are pretty power hungry and require some tweaking to get the best out of them.
as long as you have an adequate power supply...i suppose so.
