new monitor and gpu

Hi guys

im thinking about upgrading my 19" Hans-G and X1950pro

i was thinking about the following

LG Flatron W2261V

and this as its on offer at the mo

Palit GeForce GTX 260 Sonic

spec as in signature

does this sound ok, or do you lot think i could do it a better way?

will the 22" seem much better than my 19"?

are the ATI 4850/70's better than the nividea 260s

ive always been an ATi fan, but thought that 260 was a better offer

didnt see that 24" and its perfect as its got one of each input

budget, as close to £250 as possible, and i can collect, so postage doesnt need to be considered

plus ill have my 19" and X1950pro to flog hopefully

im now thinking

Dell S2409W 24"

and

either

XFX ATI Radeon HD 4870 512MB

or

HIS ATI Radeon HD 4870 1024MB

are both those better GPUS than the Nividea 260?

and i know im closer to £275 than £250, but ive been offered £20 for my old GPU at work. no idea what id get for the 19"
