Hi all
I recently had the pleasure of dropping my Dell TrueColour E248WFP 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor onto my coffee table, and to sum up....its very much broke.
I have been looking at replacements around the £150 mark as funds are tight at present but it brings me to a question which I may or may not be pondering too much about. The Dell had a max res of 1920x1200, where as most monitors @ 24" are only 1920x1080.
I mainly play some BF3 and a few MMO's but i'd like to have the best picture quality for gaming I can afford. Happy with either 23" or 24".
So the questions are:
1) Is there much difference between 1920x1200 and 1920x1080
2) For gaming, is 23" or 24" best
3) The Dell had a response time of 8ms, would I notice the difference between that and say a 5ms or 2ms.
4) Can you provide me with some recommendations of a great gaming monitor for the £150 mark. I notice some people have already answered this in other threads but the whole resolution question is making me think twice about my choice.
Thanks
Jim.
