Just got a Rog swift which is 1440p, g-sync, 144hz monitor, from my old 1080p monitor.

Now, when I load up my games theres a 50/50 chance it will force reboot my pc, any ideas why?

Thanks.

A monitor should NOT cause your PC to reboot. Not unless there is something seriously wrong like an electrical short on the video cable.

It does not crash when using my old 23inch 1080p monitor, only when I use the Rog Swift, even if I downscale to 1080p resolution for the game/s.

I did not receive the correct Power plug with my monitor, I think it was American or something, therefore we changed the plug part to the correct voltage UK power plug.

Could that cause it?

It's unlikely, I assume it's a pre-made plug as opposed to DIY job?

Try uninstalling your GFX drivers and then reinstall using latest from Nvidia using the clean install option, making sure to reboot after each.
