New Monitor for 4090

Currently gaming on a 1440p 165hz IPS 27" with a new 4090

So do I get a 4K 120hz ish monitor or 1440p 240hz monitor ? I'm not sure I want anything bigger than 27/32" and thinking the 4K is going to be wasted on 27". I'm also not really into a curve screen

I thinking a OLED would be a bigger difference over a IPS and better upgrade than a 2K to 4K screen

So thinking about the new LG OLED 27" 1440P, is that a waste of a 4090 ?

Can anyone recommend a better option please

depends what you're after, superior picture quality or competitive response times,

otherwise get the Asus PG27AQN the alternative to getting the LG OLED

I don't really need 360hz, I was think 240hz if running 1440p hence the OLED option

But everyone's preferences are different. I think I'm going to end up getting the new Asus 27" OLED considering it has a built in heat sink as well, problem is no set release date for it yet.

So I used my TV downstairs which is a 55" LG C2. Played Fortnite 4K max settings and got 110FPS with the RTX 4090

Played WZ2 and MW2 same thing

My take away is yeah it's pretty cool but did it really look better than the 1440P on a 27". NO !!!!!

The OLED yeah for sure but the screen res 4K 55" vs 2K 27" no the pixel des looked on par which surprised me to be honest

So would 1440P @240fps on a 27" OLED work, yeah I'm feeling it
