Hi all,

I have recently been eyeing up a new monitor, currently I have a BenQ GL2450HM LED TN 24" never had any problems with it at all, good looking monitor, doesn't sound terrible and it was a bargain.
However I am upgrading things now, and with the new graphics card I thought it would be time to upgrade monitor, I have been looking at several 1440 and 4K monitors but im not sure what to place my money on.

looking at a £300 budget and I like the look of this one:

some friends of mine said that IPS is the way to go, but I sit directly in front of my monitor around half a metre away so I don't need to worry about the viewing angle etc.

anyone had experience with this monitor, or have the 980Ti and a similar priced monitor?

Thanks for the reply! would you suggest staying at 1080p then? my gpu isn't struggling at all with my current one, and that monitor has a slower refresh rate than my current one too.

Ah its not the money im worried about as such, I just didnt want to go overkill on a screen as i wont be able to escape it, its a fairly small room so it would be on top of me all the time :D
I'll go for a 1440p though, i'll look for some more in a more suitable size for my room!
