Hi All

Can you find me a monitor that I can use for both gaming and photo editing, preferably in 4k to fit my £300 budget? I'm coming from a Samsung SyncMaster 24" B2430 which is probably about 3-4 years old now so I'm looking to really see a difference with my new monitor.

My setup: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/batt...vidia-geforce-titanx-gaming-pc-fs-123-og.html

Cheers

Hi,

How about this one, little over the budget but it is with massively discounted price:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £360.49 (includes shipping: £10.50)

Anyone else? The Acer 27" is too far out of my budget and I'm not overly keen on the AOC. 4K not that important I just want stunning clarity and colours but decent for gaming too.

Isn't this one suitable? Other than the fact it's ofcourse Freesync and I have a Titan X.

I wouldn't recommend a TN monitor for photo editing, you would want IPS or VA as they produce much more colour accurate images:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £889.97 (includes shipping: £0.00)

LG would be best option for image clarity and colour accuracy but it OOS.

Samsung also has great colour accuracy, and the best contrast ratios of the 3, but is only 1080p and doesn't have G-Sync. It's also curved.

Benq is inbetween the two, but costs way too much and only has a 60hz refresh rate.

Okay I've upped my budget to £450 then. What will this get me? It's originally a present but it will be a monitor I'll be keeping for years provided it doesn't give in on me so I'm happy to invest some extra cash into it myself as well.
