Our house extension is about to finish so will have work desk which I need new monitor for. Currently using Dell U2515H (2560x1440 IPS) which I find really good but it will go for Mrs to use.
Currently have my mind set on two monitors:
-Alienware AW2723DF 280hz IPS Nano 2560x1440 £539
-Cooler Master Tempest GP27Q 165hz IPS 2560x1440 £500
Now i'm wondering would it be worth looking at 3440X1440 monitors as I work with spreadsheets, normally have 3 windows open. Games i normally play are strategy (football manager, anno series, xcom), would they work on ultrawide monitors.
After thinking about it don't think will go with oled as extension is bright and don't want to risk burn in by having to run monitor at bright setting.
Will be building new pc come summer time, thinking 7800x3d and something like RX 7900xt.
Any advise/opinions would be appreciated as I'm stuck at what to choose
