just purchased a hazro 27 1440p monitor which i really like from another retailer, but when i boot my pc up in a morning and turn on the monitor all i get is different colored flickering lines filling the screen, but if i turn the monitor off and on it corrects itself and works perfect,i have had the monitor around 2 weeks and it has done this probably 5 times on boot up .once booted if i turn monitor of and on its still ok. should i return the monitor,

Did you use another monitor with this system before this one? Any problems with that if so?

Try reinstalling the drivers for your gpu, does that monitor do hdmi? If it does, try that and see what happens.

my previous new monitor was fine until it toppled of my desk and smashed,im using the same dual cable which came with the Korean catleap monitor that smashed. this monitor as only dvi input.ive also tried the latest ati driver, but the screen shows the garbled lines before booting to bios,so it must be the monitor do you think there could be a loose connection inside. i dont seem to have any luck with monitors.

Just to rule out your system, do you have another system in the house you could connect the monitor to?

no just this one, the monitors fine ounce on. if i reboot now it will start up fine.its just in a morning when i first boot up the pc.then turning the monitor off and on cures it. its happened around 5 times in say 30 boot ups.

Try for a replacement :) How old is it?

i purchased it 2 weeks ago from a well known on line retailer. but wandering if i keep it will it get worse, as i dont fancy packaging it up for an rma and i like the monitor,

I get the same kind of thing from my DGM after waking it from sleep, but I just have to F5 the home screen and it is fine.

but my monitor is only 2 weeks old. when buying new i want a perfectly working monitor. mine also does it waking from sleep or turning the monitor off and on. just had update from online store saying hazro have 3 working days to reply,if no reply i will receive a full cash back refund.
