New monitor-help needed.

Hi.
Just bought monitor viewsonic vp2458 and connected via hdmi from my laptop.
This monitor is a basic photography monitor with precalibrated color space srgb with certyfication.
If that is connected via hdmi my monitor using its own calibrated profile or is using laptop screen profile?(my laptop screen is able to show around 50%srgb monitor has 100). If no what i need to do to use monitor color profile?
And second question- how can i use my ge force gtx 950m as a main card for new monitor -default is intel hd graphic and i dont know how to change that. Thank you

You an set the default in the geforce control panel, but if its a gaming laptop, it'll use the 9xx when you start a game up

what about connection-im more about color accuracy. do i need to find color profile from my monitor and install it(still shows color profile from laptop screen) or monitor just uses its own color profile?
