Hi guys
It seems my 20" Samsung 2032bw of 2 years has just gone.
I was sitting infront of it doing some paper work and I heard a faint pop, looked up and the screen had no power at all.
I'm going to check it with a different power lead tomorrow just to see.
If I need a new monitor what is considered a good buy right now?
I don't really know anything about them at all, but I use my computer a lot, and I'm kind of looking at buying this week.
My current one is a 20", with 2ms response time (which is good for gaming I assume)
I use my computer for:
Gaming (a lot) such as Left 4 Dead 2 etc
Internet browsing
Uni work
DVDs
I'm thinking 24" as we have Dell 2407s at Uni and they're very nice.
Aslong as the new monitor is good for gaming, i.e. no image retention or input lag, I'm sure it'll be fine for the rest.
1920x1200 would be the resolution I'd want but I do have an 8800gtx, so would that hinder game performance on a screen that size?
Thanks a lot
