New Monitor Help Please

Hi, I have an old Dell 21" Monitor and I would like to upgrade to 27". I don't use it for gaming, just general office, photography and surfing.

I have seen these two and would appreciate advice on the best choice or alternatives, thank you.

3840 x 2160 for me personally would want

Also you'd notice 60hz juddering when you're panning windows around

VA will be brighter but may have some colour shift on the left and right sides. Generally VA have fairly even backlit
IPS will be better with even colour phasing. But will be dimmer, not as much contrast, and may have IPS backlit glow.

1440p may need 125% scaling
4K will require scaling higher than 125%
