Hi folks,

I'm currently gaming on my 24-inch Lenovo ThinkVision monitor that I use for working from home. Not ideal. Keen to buy something to replace this for the purposes of gaming, primarily Battlefield.

My PC is running on a GTX 2070 8GB graphics card.

I have been out of the gaming space for some time so a little out of the loop on all things hardware. A couple of questions;

  • Should I still be opting for as low response rate as possible?
  • Are curved monitors purely a matter of personal preference or do they offer any benefits?
I think I am leaning towards a 27 inch monitor as it will give me more real estate space for when I am working during the day, but would be very grateful for any suggestions.

Budget c.£450 ish. :rolleyes:

Gigabyte Fi27q is about 450
27 inch fast ips panel at 1440p
I got the ad27qd which is basically the same just at 144hz where Fi27q is 166hz
Really pleased with mine

I am not really in the know but got this link from someone else on the forum so keep an eye on this:

Might be a good place to start to get some ideas.

Thanks folks, I'll check both these out. Think I am leaning towards a curved one!
