New monitor ideas - 1440p FPS gaming

Hi all,

Been a while since I've posted on here but you guys are awesome for info and knowledge.
Looking to upgrade my current 1080p BenQ 1ms, 144Hz monitor to a 1440p 27" 1ms and 144-165Hz beast.

Black Friday is coming up and I'm hoping to grab a good deal but its a mind field on what monitor to pick!
Using my monitor for FPS games like CSGO etc but also new pretty games that are out and upcoming! Also movies etc.

Looking for some recommendations and guidance if possible folks.

Current system - 3770k, 16GB ram and 1080ti.
The system is getting on a little I know but would like to up the visuals first and then new system in the new year.

Whats your budget, there is so many different models and makes that setting a budget will help narrow this massive minefield.

If you can stretch to it the LG 34GK950F is a stonkingly good monitor, I can't praise highly enough!

And currently £250 off

Paying all that for an LG is asking for trouble with there QC and Customer support, Might as well go for an Alienware at that price, They are doing deals for BF.

Disagree, most companies have lots of people complaining about xyz, it's more rare to find someone who's happy with a purchase! I can only speak for myself though and this LG is perfect, No back light bleed, no stuck or dead pixels and it's working like an absolute dream!
