Okay so im in need of a new monitor,Ideally looking for an Ultra widescreen around the size of 29/30" with a budget of around £300-350

However,Whats the best to go for,Im confused by all these diffrent types, and whats the newest.

  • IPS,
  • AH-IPS
  • LED
  • TN

And most importantly,I see a lot of 29/30" ultra widescreen monitors are 2560x1080,are they all only 60hz at this price range?

The 144hz are like £600+ Way too expensive.

What would you go for with a £300-350 budget? (NO LG Please, terrible customer service) :)

You do see them at that place you can buy anything from without bidding from time to time. Some sellers include a pre shipping inspection when importing.

The Crossover 344Q AHIPS DP might also be worth a look.

Yeah, they're too hard to get and i wouldn't be comfortable importing it from another country..with the luck i have it would probably come smashed up. :o

Been having a good look at loads of monitors on various sites,There really isn't any sweet spots right now for size/specs/price balance.

Ideally id like a 144/120hz 2560x1440 but they're like £500+

Not sure i could go to a monitor thats 2560x1440 but only 60Hz considering my current monitor is 1920x1080 @120hz.

Guess i will just have to wait for a deal. :(

The Dell S2716DG sounds like what you are after on offer for £449 here needs to be £25 cheaper to be competetive

Yeah,I've heard a lot of good things about Dell Monitors,I also like the fact it comes with a 3yr warranty vs 1-2 that most come with.

Im just wondering if i should just go for a TN panel been older tech,IPS seems like it has its benefits with better colours but the whole colour bleed issue that seems to plague them puts me off.

This is the sort of issue i want to avoid, this is from an Asus 144hz 1440P IPS monitor that someone posted..looks terrible.
