got my new screen yesterday (Acer XF270HUAbmiidprzx), plugged in and Display port doesn't work ![Frown :( :(](/styles/default/xenforo/vbSmilies/Normal/frown.gif)
hdmi works but I'm limited to 70hz max
this is what I tried:
- both ports on the graphics card (vega 64) , made sure cables are in properly,
- left the screen without power to drain - some ppl on the internet were suggesting that,
- installed the newest drivers for the graphics, tried with and without fresync (though this is pointless as I should be able to see the BIOS/Post)
I've got a second display port cable to test tonight, and a display port to divi-d cable too. I don't have another screen with display port to test.
any other suggestions?
I love this screen, no dead pixels, amazing colors, but at the money I've spend if it doesn't work as intend it's gonna be a return
