New monitor now flickering when mouse moved??

I have just played my first game of CS GO on the new monitor..

Now, everything in game working great, decent temps and performance, but..

since exiting the game, there is minor flickering all over the screen, not consistent, for instance, flicker..nothing for a few seconds..flicker again..etc

i checked the settings and nothing has changed.

cannot capture on video as its so so minor you cant pick it up :(
 
strange, the v. frequency has been dropping when i check the monitors information thought the button menu system...

i have changed the cable and rebooted and it is sitting at 144hz and seems ok. but when the freq. goes to like 55hz it seems to be the issue?

can someone please shed some light on this..could it be the monitor?? hopefully this new cable will help out..
 
I could tell by your first 3 posts that it was a freesync screen coupled with a freesync gpu. It's a know issue with many of the freesync monitors out there and my piece ** ****** secondary monitor, an asus vg245h, does it to. The backlight is spazzing out when you get near the lower freesync limit of the monitor. I also saw this behavior with an asus mx34vq. Some said it was better on vega compared to polaris but i don't know about that.
