I've decided I want to get a new monitor as I have had mine for ages. Currently using an Acer G24 (in tasty orange
) from 2008 (24" 1920 x 1200).
I'm not keen on downsizing res wise to a 1080p panel so probably looking at a 1440p screen. I'm leaning towards IPS.
I'm mostly playing COH2 right now with some World of Tanks added in. I also play other games fps 3rd person etc. Are the 27" IPS screens decent for all types of gaming or are they noticeably poor for fast games?
I don't really have a budget but I guess looking to pay around £350 or less. I had considered 4k but decided not to based on the fact the 2 games I am playing the most do not support crossfire and I would expect would run kinda crap on 1 card.
Any suggestions?
Also is it possible to overclock monitors on AMD cards or is it an Nvidia only thing?
