New monitor suggestions...

I'm looking at the possibility of upgrading from my Dell S2409W (24") monitor to something around the 27" size.

Can anyone recommend a decent one for around the £200 mark??

I generally use it for gaming (usually at 1920 x 1080 but not sure if my GPU and CPU are good enough to game comfortably at a higher res!?!?) and browsing the web.

Is there anything out there at this sort of price point that will do a decent job?? (Although I'm guessing that at that sort of price point I'm not going to get much more than 1920 x 1080??)

Hmmm, having had a bit more of a look specs-wise, it would appear that my budget will only afford me a 1920x1080 resolution monitor (which I'd imagine won't look as "sharp" as my existing screen with the same res!?!?)

Having scanned down the list, the first one that pops up with a 2560x1440 resolution is the Acer Predator G277HU which is available for pre-order!

The specs look impressive but I understand it's a "TN" panel which isn't as good as an "IPS" panel???

Would I be better pushing my budget to afford the Acer K272HUL with it being an IPS panel? (even though it's a 6ms response rather than 1ms on the TN panel??)

Thanks for any advice guys, as you can tell I have no idea what I'm doing!! :D
